GUARDIANSHIP SERVICE BOARD

Every day in Franklin County, adults living with significant mental illness, dementia or developmental disabilities face decisions about healthcare, housing and safety, but have no one to help them navigate the system. When family or friends are gone or unable to serve, the Franklin County Guardianship Service Board steps in.

We are the guardian of last resort for over 500 individuals and ensure autonomy, stability and safety - meeting clients where they are and walking beside them toward better outcomes. We serve with compassion, protect with dignity and advocate fiercely for those who cannot do so themselves.
