Last year, with the help of our community, we were able to fulfill our client's entire wish list and give a special gift to every client of the GSB! We are excited to share the experience, and be able to do this for our clients again this year!
While preparing for holiday celebrations with your friends and family, stop and reflect on the joy and blessings in your own life because not everyone is as fortunate as you. While shopping for gifts with loved ones, please consider setting aside part of your budget to brighten someone's holiday.
We are the guardian to individuals, some who do not have any family to share these Holiday times with, let alone receive an individualized gift. Most of our clients only receive $35 a month for discretionary spending to purchase toiletries, entertainment, clothing, and snack foods.
To hand select an individualized gift, you can visit the Amazon Wish List through the link below, select and purchase a gift. Once purchased, the item(s) will automatically be shipped to the Franklin County Guardianship Service Board office where we can sort through and then distribute the gifts to our clients.
We will also be opening our office for volunteers on Friday, December 13, 2019 to help wrap all of the gifts before delivering to our clients! Please email [email protected] if you have any questions or would like to volunteer your time!
